Crazy Rich Asians was one of the most important debuts for Gemma Chan who established her honorable place in the list of Hollywood’s leading ladies position and after years of hustling and success, it wasn’t quite a surprised when L’Oréal Paris had the 37-year-old British actress as its latest face and its new international spokesperson.  In a statement released by the brand, Chan expressed her excitement at working with one of beauty’s biggest names, due in part to their commitment to diversity.

“I’ve always believed that we should embrace our difference as our strength. So I’m thrilled to join L’Oréal Paris, a family of empowered women of all origins standing together to show the power and beauty of diversity. The L’Oréal Paris message to every woman: “believe in your self-worth” is as needed today as ever.”Gemma Chan is proof of the success that happens when you have the confidence to follow your own dreams, and speak up for others to be able to follow theirs,” Delphine Viguier-Hovasse, global brand president L’Oréal Paris, said in a release. For her L’Oréal Paris debut, Chan and her illustrious cheekbones will be starring in the global campaign for the brand’s Revitalift Derm intensives 3.5 percent pure glycolic cleanser, which launches internationally this month. We look forward to seeing Chan’s upcoming campaigns with the beauty powerhouse, with our fingers kept crossed for a mascara to dupe Chan’s natural lashes.
