If you thought Black Friday sales were major, you’re in for a treat!
The Dubai Shopping Festival will begin on 17 December until 30 January 2021 along with its jaw-dropping deals, art installations, concerts and opportunities to win life-changing prizes.
It all starts with a two-day celebration at Market Outside The Box at Burj Park in Downtown Dubai on Thursday December 17 and Friday December 18, with the event running from 8pm until midnight both evenings.
Got a love for fireworks? There will be daily displays throughout the festival and if you’re after saving some cash the DSF Sale Season promotion will run from December 26 to January 30.
There’s also loads of live music happening around the city as well as some special shows. Dubai Opera is hosting The Simon & Garfunkel show on December 19. There are also two Arabic music shows on New Year’s Eve. Dubai World Trade Centre will host a New Year’s Eve show by Arabic singer Nassif Zeytoun.
Wael Kfoury and Mouhamad Khairy will take to the stage on New Year’s Eve at the Festival Arena at the InterContinental Hotel Dubai Festival City.
The 26th showcase of the world’s biggest and longest running retail festival will be the perfect celebration of everything Dubai is famous for – unparalleled family fun and of course, unlimited shopping.
Egyptian pop star Tamer Hosny will perform in the UAE on Thursday at the opening of the Dubai Shopping Festival, at the same venue that is hosting Anne-Marie, Clean Bandit, and Yasmin Green a day later.
“My beloved fans in Dubai and the UAE. I will be waiting for you on 17 December,” stated Tamer Hosni.
There’s also plenty of fun infused things to do all around the festival. From watching the sport of kings at Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club to chuckling with your family and friends at comedy from a globetrotting stand-up followed by a giggle with a Shakespeare comedy at The Junction.
You could also be a-maze-d by the Festive Forest of Light at Dubai Festival City Mall then get served with your favorite dishes like some smashing Greek dishes at La Mer or you could dine with your besties under the DSF Lights at City Walk.
Dubai Festival City Mall will also have a magical festive experience, complete with an interactive maze, an enchanted polar bear valley, a candy factory and a Santa grotto. Mall of the Emirates, meanwhile, will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland, packed with festive cheer and Christmas market in collaboration with Ripe Market and Ski Dubai and a thousand more things to do.
Organisers advised shoppers to check DSF social media channels and websites for future announcements. We can’t wait to see how this all turns out!
