The 68th Cannes Film Festival was kicked off on 13 May, 2015 at the coastal French city. Films from all around the world were screened during the festival between the 13th and the 24th of May. Among the jury were American actor Jake Gyllenhaal, British actress Sienna Miller, French actress and director Sophie Marceau and others and was presided over by brilliant directors Joel and Ethan Cohen. The Festival celebrated the 120th anniversary of the creation of the cinema by the Lumière brothers as well as the 100th birthday anniversaries of American icons Ingrid Bergman (1915-1982), pictured on the Festival’s poster this year and Orson Welles (1915-1985).
