The only priceless thing in our life is our health, the biggest investment you can make and the main thing that you should always care about.

Lately, everyone has started to realize the importance of boosting their immunity system due to COVID-19.

The immune system is the body’s defense against infectious organisms and other invaders. Through a series of steps called the immune response, the immune system attacks organisms and substances that invade our systems and cause disease. The immune system is made up of a network of cells, tissues, and organs that work together to protect the body.

You can boost your immune system in different ways:

1. Eating healthy food containing different nutrients, such as:

  • Citrus fruit
  • Papaya
  • Kiwi
  • Guava
  • Apple
  • Strawberries
  • Avocado
  • Vegetables
  • Leafy Greens
  • Garlic
  • Mushrooms
  • Nuts
  • Salmon
  • Sunflower seeds
  • Whole grains

2- Sleeping well: You shouldn’t sleep any less than 8 hours daily at night.

3- Workout more frequently, at least 3 times per week.

4- Avoid sugar as much as possible.

5- Drink more liquids especially different herbs like echinacea, chamomile, ginger, cinnamon, ginseng.

6- Try to be exposed to sunlight for 30 mins each day.

 

You can also go for some external supplements, but definitely under a medical supervision. Here are examples for some supplements:

2- Zinc

3- Iron

4- Vitamin-D

5 – Vitamin-E

6- Vitamin B6, B12

7- Folic acid

All in all, better health is central to human satisfaction and well-being, staying healthy physically can help you stay healthy emotionally too. If your health is strong enough your body will help you to cope with stress and also fight viruses.
