If you’ve been following what’s been happening in Egypt the past week, you must’ve noticed lots of people talking about the World Youth Forum that took place in Sharm El-Sheikh from 3-6 November. But in case you haven’t been keeping up, the WYF is a forum that gathers youth from all around the world to tackle important issues, and to send a message of peace, prosperity, harmony, and progress to the entire world.

Thanks to the WYF page on Instagram that didn’t want us to miss anything that was happening over there, we were kept in the loop by the Instagram stories that covered almost all the sessions and the workshops that took place.

Day 1 Pre-Forum

Day 2 Pre-Forum

Day 3 Opening

Day 4 Sessions

Day 5 Sessions

And we can’t deny that the closing of the forum was exhilarating and thrilling even for the people who were not attending. The beautiful youth spirit was felt just by watching the stories. As they said in the story   “The excitement was infectious”

And as for the people who attended the forum, they couldn’t stop tweeting, and posting pictures about it. For the past week, young people from all around the world, celebrities, and even our president Abdel Fattah El-Sisi couldn’t stop talking about how a great outstanding remarkable experience the forum was for everyone.

Let’s not forget the bike marathon on the last day of the forum with Mr. President!
