After 14 years of KUWTK, it finally became the end of an era. Watching the sometimes dysfunctional family dynamics, extravagant trips, over the top beauty launches, messy breakups, and just all-around juicy drama are coming to an end.
It was announced in September of 2020 that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians won’t return for a 21st season and will end by 2021. Kim Kardashian recently posted a series of photos and videos to her Instagram Stories, documenting her last day filming the show and their crew leaving everyone in tears.
“This is our last Keeping Up With the Kardashians miking of life,” she said in a video with the show’s audio supervisor who’s worked with the family for the past 14 years, Erin Paxton, before telling her “don’t cry.” Kim added, “You guys, the last miking ever,” before she shot the mics for herself, sisters Khloé Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, and mom Kris Jenner.”
The emotional ending of KUWTK comes just days following multiple outlets reported that Kim and Kanye west’s marriage has come to an end.
“They are keeping it lowkey but they are done,” the source says. “Kim has hired Laura Wasser and they are in settlement talks.” The insider adds that “Kim got Kanye to go up there [Wyoming] so they could live separate lives and quietly get things sorted out to separate and divorce. She’s done.”
Another source reveals Kanye is “completely over the entire family.…He wants nothing to do with them” and found their reality series Keeping Up With the Kardashians “unbearable.”
Meaning Kanye probably won’t be a part of the finale.
