New York, London, Los Angeles, Berlin, and now Cairo? Graffiti artists around the world tend to aim for the big cities to show their art and have their own voice and influence on the people. Sure, Cairo may not have that much graffiti on its walls, but it sure might soon.
Qarm Qart, an Italian artist based in Cairo, shared several pictures of the ideal graffiti concepts he would like to see in the city. The idea is to paint legends of the silver screen all over downtown Cairo, which was once a hub for legendary actors and actresses of the black & white era.
He also imagined walls that have a painting of late Ezzat Abou Auf, as a homage for his recent passing, which we absolutely love!
