Fans are cheering after Saad Lamjarred’s recent release from a jail in France.
The Moroccan singer, who is accused of raping and beating a French woman in Paris last October, will still face trial. He has been released on bail with an electronic tether that constantly alerts police of his movements, until the trial takes places.
Lamjarred is not allowed to leave France and must remain at his residence between certain fixed hours established by the judge, according to Al Arabiya. But that hasn’t stopped the alleged rapist from dancing in the streets of Paris.
A video of the singer dancing happily after he was released has garnered a lot of attention on social media.
Shortly after Lamjarred’s release, he posted a status to social media, thanking his fans for their support and expressing love for his family.
